1Agreement

By using myharmonyfinancial.com, the free tools on it, or the client portal at portal.myharmonyfinancial.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them. In this document "Harmony," "we," and "us" mean Harmony Financial, a DBA of Harmony Financial Group.

2What Harmony is

Harmony is an independent insurance brokerage. We shop, place, and manage insurance for households.

We are not an insurance carrier. We do not issue policies, we do not underwrite, we do not decide claims, and we do not guarantee coverage, approval, savings, pricing, carrier availability, or any claims outcome. Policies are issued and administered by the carriers that write them, and the policy document the carrier issues is the only thing that determines what is covered.

Harmony provides licensed insurance services only. Nothing on this site is investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice.

3No coverage is bound through this site

Nothing on this site binds coverage. Booking a call does not bind coverage. Finishing a tool does not bind coverage. Sending us a message, a document, or a payment does not bind coverage.

You do not have insurance until a carrier issues a policy and confirms it is in force. If you need coverage to start on a particular date, say so out loud and get written confirmation. Do not cancel an existing policy until its replacement is confirmed in writing.

4The free tools

The Life Insurance Calculator, Coverage Gap Finder, Coverage IQ, and the Fit Finder are educational estimating tools. They run in your browser and work only from what you type into them.

• A result is an estimate built on general assumptions. It is not a quote, not an offer, and not a promise of what any carrier will charge or approve.
• The calculator uses a common needs-analysis method. It does not know your health, any carrier's rates, or what underwriting class you would land in.
• The Fit Finder describes whether Harmony's service suits how your household handles insurance. It is not an eligibility test and it does not approve or deny anyone for anything.
• Results are not saved by us and are not a client record.

What coverage you actually need should be settled in a conversation with a licensed advisor, working from your real policies.

5Where we are licensed

Shakari Granberry is licensed as an insurance producer in the State of Illinois, License No. 21253502, NPN 21253502, and is licensed in Illinois only. We cannot advise on or place insurance in states where we are not licensed. Any producer's license can be checked through the NAIC's national lookup.

6Booking a call and contacting us

When you book a Clarity Call or give us your phone number or email address, you agree that we may contact you about your insurance by phone, text, and email. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to any text to stop texts. Agreeing to be contacted is not a condition of buying anything. How we handle what you tell us is set out in the Privacy Policy.

A Clarity Call is a short preliminary conversation. It is not a full policy review, an application, or advice about a specific policy.

7How Harmony is paid

You do not pay Harmony a separate advisor fee. You pay the normal cost of the policy you buy, and Harmony is compensated by the insurance company when a policy is placed.

Compensation varies by carrier and by product, which means the amount we earn is not the same on every option we may show you. You are entitled to ask what we are paid on anything we recommend, and we will tell you.

8The client portal

A portal account is yours alone. Keep your login private, give us accurate information, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has reached your account.

Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share, anything malicious, or anything belonging to another person without their permission. We may suspend or close an account that is misused, or when our working relationship ends, and we may change or discontinue portal features.

9Second Look partners

The Second Look Referral Program is for licensed insurance agents. Taking part means you confirm that you hold a current license in good standing, that you have the client's permission to make the referral, and that you will follow the program's rules and all applicable insurance laws.

The program is an informal, non-exclusive referral relationship between independently licensed agents. No compensation of any kind is paid or received in either direction. A referral does not create a partnership, joint venture, agency agreement, or employment relationship, and client information is shared only with that client's written authorization. Taking part is your own responsibility to square with your carrier and agency agreements and with the laws of your state.

10Medicare

We do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to those plans we do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE to get information on all of your options.

Medicare is handled as a separate appointment from other lines of insurance, under the federal rules that govern Medicare marketing.

11Acceptable use

Use this site for what it is for. Do not attempt to break into it, scrape it at volume, interfere with how it runs, misrepresent who you are, use it to send unsolicited messages, or use it in any way that breaks the law.

12Our content

The text, design, illustrations, logo, and tools on this site belong to Harmony Financial Group. You are welcome to read them, print them, and share links to them. You may not copy the site or its tools for your own commercial use without written permission. Carrier names and other companies' marks belong to their owners.

13Other companies' sites and services

Links to other companies — carriers, Medicare.gov, ClaimSpeak, the NAIC lookup, our scheduling tool — are offered for convenience. We do not control them, we are not responsible for them, and a link is not an endorsement unless the page says so.

14The site is provided as is

We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. Information here can go out of date, and insurance rules, rates, and carrier appetites change. Nothing on this site replaces reading your own policy.

15Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Harmony Financial Group, its owner, and anyone working with it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this site or its tools, including any decision made from an estimate a tool produced.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here limits our responsibilities to you as a licensed insurance producer acting as your broker.

16If you have a problem

Tell us first. Most problems are one phone call. Call 773.517.9681 or email granberryshakari@gmail.com, and give us 30 days to put it right.

If it cannot be settled that way, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois. You may also contact the Illinois Department of Insurance about a licensed producer at any time.

17Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and using the site after that means you accept the update.

18The rest

If any provision here is found unenforceable, the rest still stands. Not enforcing something once does not waive it. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement about your use of this site. They do not change the terms of any insurance policy, and they do not replace any separate written agreement between us.
